Seems everyone here is in love with America Ferrera and she does seem like a nice girl, but I have to say, I don't find her attractive - at all.

yea, she looks horrid, especially in the one with her hands around her neck. but she's awesome on ugly betty

i hate the whole concept that braces/glasses equals "ugly", which is why i will not watch Ugly Betty. The photoshoot is alright.

um, yeah it's good that there are women with curves on tv but that doesn't automatically make her gorgeous. she looks nice and cute and giggly but she's no beauty by any means. i also think that show is so overrated.

Yeah, I agree. She's nice and I think she's talented, but appearance-wise, at most I'd rate her as 'cute'.

I think the 'gorgeous' label is a reaction to seeing her 'cleaned up'& out of character. I really like her and I find her unconventionally pretty.

i agree about the show being overrated...i think its kind of wak actually, but i totally dig America, and i think shes a very attractive girl.
The fact that shes curvy is secondary to me...there are alot of curvy stars out there both latina and non latina....im more crazy about the fact that shes latin, and having a great career when she isint white nor as gorgeous as salma, paz or penolope(who i think is overrated), and shes young too. you seldom see that with latin stars.
she represents the minority, and im crazy about her. i couldnt be happier if she were african-american.

Although I don't have braces, I can tell you that when I wear glasses, I get more compliments/hit-on than when I go without them.
