Ok, I'm not even a fan of Beyonce, but these pics are making me want to see "Dreamgirls". I've always loved The Supremes, and I assume that is what the movie is semi-about.

She has gorgeous skin. I don't like the first picture, her face looks a little odd.

ITA! Much more flattering than her usual light brown, this brings out her face so much more.
I think it's pretty impressive how different she looks here, with only different make-up, hair and overall style than she usually wears; I'm not sure I would have recognized her in some of these pics.

Hear she's all kinds of pissed about Jennifer Hudson getting a lot of credit for the movie---is Jennifer in any of those pic? I cannot tell. Anyway, they're ok pictures.

I'm not a fan of her usual look, but I think Beyonce looks great here.
She looks like Jennifer Lopez in the third pic, 2nd row.

All admiration of her went down the drain after hearing the way she's
been acting towards Jennifer in regards to the buzz she's been getting
for her role in the movie.

It was loosely based on the Supremes.
"Diana Ross took over lead spot from original frontwoman Florence Ballard, who unlike Effie, died in poverty at age 32. The Diana-Deena parallel is even more evident here, with Knowles' fashions, hairstyles and even sound mirroring various phases of Ross' career."
Straight from the Variety review, which gives very effusive praise to the film.
*eta: If you go in expecting to hear Supreme's style songs (motown-style), you'll be disappointed because it's more Broadway type stuff (whitebread and boring compared to motown, IMO). That's what happened to me and why I didn't really like it.

She looks stunning in the second pic with the sunglasses and in the second to last pic. The seventies style reminds me of one of my fave Phillysound bands "The Three Degrees".....
