Default Jane Fonda - Town & Country Magazine - November 2017

On not chasing perfection: “Perfect? It doesn’t exist. What matters is that you’re whole.”

On today’s political climate: “I’m almost 80, and so to say that I’ve never experienced this kind of nightmare before in my life is saying something… I became an activist in 1970 and if I can give any advice it’s this: We mustn’t normalize this presidency.”

On her outlook on life and on the future:“I’m not afraid of death, but I’m afraid of getting to the end without becoming the best I can be as a person…There’s a lot of time behind me and not much time ahead of me. And whatever time is left, I want to do it differently.”

On why she misses her father, Henry Fonda:
“I miss him so much. I think I’d be able to talk to him now, which was something I had a hard time doing when he was alive; I was too intimidated by him. There’s so much I wasn’t able to say.”

I am loving the hair and outfit in this pic. The last pic doesn't even look like her. The cover is great. Honest and wrinkled. Except her neck for some reason.

That "bronde" highlighting is my absolute favorite. Tousled hair is so flattering for a mature face. Of course having the best hair colorist and best stylist helps but I just love how it all looks. I don't like the long skirt photo because the look is too Nancy Reagan uptight. I will always remember seeing Jane in Bloomingdales dept store, early 90s, in the bath dept. I'm used to seeing a lot of expensive looking women, but she was incredible. All in off white, pants, sweater, light wool raincoat style long coat. Mrs. Ted Turner had that I look spectacular look.

I bet she hates this cover. All that money she has spent! I see the earrings are strategically placed to shorten the ears.
I have some famous friends and I have mostly not famous friends.

This bitch looks fab! I love it all except the photo of her holding the plant, or whatever the hell that is.

She looks more like Kristen Wigg playing Jane Fonda in that photo.
