I loved Paul Newman back in the day. Still do. And those striking blue eyes still stands out.

He is sooooo great, so normal, so down to earth. He has such humor, which I think makes a person attractive anyway. In the bonus material on the "The Sting" DVD, HE is the one with the anecdotes, HE is the one who doesn't take things too seriously. And he still has very young, twinkling eyes and lots of energy. He was and still is gorgeous. And quite possibly the thing he does for real, and has been doing for decades, that was used in "The Sting" too> dumping your head into a sink full of icecubes and ice cold water, may just be his beauty secret, cos his skin looks great for an 81 year old!

I was never aware of any homosexual innuendo surrounding Paul Newman until this year, when on some forum I read he supposedly came on to Robert Redford while filming Butch & Sundance, too. I don't know. I think the trend these days is to turn everyone into a homosexual. He never gave me a gay vibe, and even if he were, he seems way too down to earth and normal to ever go for a nutcase like Cruise.
