Default Beyoncé - British Vogue - May 2013

On believing in equal rights for all:
“But I guess I am a modern-day feminist. I do believe in equality. Why do you have to choose what type of woman you are? Why do you have to label yourself anything? I’m just a woman and I love being a woman. I do believe in equality and that we have a way to go and it’s something that’s pushed aside and something that we have been conditioned to accept.”

On her demanding job: “I’m always bruised somewhere – my legs, my hips. But you’ve already started so you’ve just gotta fight through it.”

On defending using Mrs. Carter for her world tour name: “I feel like Mrs Carter is who I am, but more bold and more fearless than I’ve ever been. It comes from knowing my purpose and really meeting myself once I saw my child. I was like, ‘OK, this is what you were born to do’. The purpose of my body became completely different.”

On feeling sexier than ever: “It comes from knowing my purpose and really meeting myself once I saw my child. I was like, ‘OK, this is what you were born to do. The purpose of my body became completely different. The way I view it and everything. There’s a sensuality and an audacity that I’m O.K. with sharing.”

This from a woman who just released a song commanding other "bitches" to "bow down."

This dumb f*ck knows nothing. Thanks to her and others writhing around and putting out horrible songs that help keep women down in the eyes of men...grrr I can not even put into words right now how damn detrimental her persona is to young people. We didn't have as far to go for equality as she thinks. That is until porn became mainstream and women became seen as sexbots. She is willingly putting herself out there to make a buck.

Pretty awesome words you found there! Bey is like Madge. They both claim to empower women, LIKE NEVER BEFORE, while they truly only diminish women who actually have talent beyond prancing around stage lip synching and snapping their snatch.

Poor women of this younger generation, with Beyonce as their feminist, they are doomed.

I am going from not caring about Beyonce one way or the other to actively disliking her intensely. I always thought she was dumb, but it's getting worse or more apparent.

I can't like this enough. What is Vogue thinking? (I say this a lot.)

A born robot. An empty shell. From the look on her face to her brain. And what in the heck is fashionable about that tacky ass outfit? Stripes and sequins?
