I know she's supposed to be the next big thing in Indie music but I already can't stand her for some reason. I've only heard one song by her, and her voice is alright but the song wasn't that great. I think it's funny they put that bee on her lips to allude to her "natural" bee stung lips when her lips are so obviously fake.

I love her voice and have had Born to Die stuck in my head for a week. But I agree about the lips, they're so ridiculously fake and she keeps denying it.

Her songs are so morbid and depressing but why not, hey? I saw her on a show and she was ridiculously nervous when she sang.

Anyway, the pic is alright but her lips are ludicrous in pics and on screen.

I know the make up is supposed to be 60's like but i hate the eyeliner. Also the bee on her lip is distracting. Apart from that i like the photo.

As for her music its ok but not my cup of tea.

she's all right but i have a feeling i'm going to be sick of her very soon. though probably not as fast as i got sick of adele, so it's something i guess.

did anyone see her on saturday night live? she sounded like she was drunk and her tongue was swollen and too big for her mouth. i think i'm officially over her before even really getting into her.

i never heard of her until SNL and she sounded like a wounded animal.

I haven't seen it but I did see her live on Jools Holland and she was trying way too hard and putting on that stupid cutesy purring voice because I don't think she could hit the difficult notes properly. I still love the 2 songs I've heard so far but am trying not to play them to death in case I get sick of them.

As for Adele, I avoid commercial radio so had never even heard her sing until I was on the bus the other day and her big hit song came on - I swear these 2 chicks nearly creamed themselves and were singing along really loudly. I was like, this is the same Adele everyone's crapping on about? She's boring.

The first performance was plain embarrassing. She hit duff notes and didn't know how to move or express herself. I thought she had more confidence by the second song which she obviously found easier to sing.

Overall, she reminded me of someone on, say, Footballers' Wives standing up and deciding to 'entertain' an audience. She's got a long way to go before she develops any kind of stage presence.
