I'm not sure I get the message? What's wrong with horse-drawn carriages in NYC?

I dont know about NYC but here In Montreal, they work those poor horses day and night. At least farmers gave their horses one shift per day. Last summer, we had a number of horses collapse from the humidity.Plus, a lot of the horses are old ... they are racehorses or other such working animals and they really should be put to pasture, not lugging families around for 18 hours a day. On concrete. In heavy traffic. I was in Rome a couple of years ago and wanted to cry when I saw the old nags in the heat.

I think she's attractive, and I'm kind of PO'd that this isn't one of their "I'd Rather Go Naked" campaigns...

That's exactly how it is in NYC! It breaks my heart to see these old tired horses lugging stupid ppl around Central Park. They look so tired and pathetic and FAT! I agree! THey should be out in a pasture somewhere not shackled to some heavy carriage! I get so angry when I see this!!

Hate this bitch, but I feel bad for the horsies so I'll just leave it at that.
