Michael Jackson on the cover of Q magazines August 2009 issue, which coincidentally went to press shortly before Jackson’s tragic death, has been widely circulated as the last authorized photograph of the singer. While that remains likely to be true, photographer John Wright tells the Music Mix that the photo shoot in question actually took place several years ago, in approximately 2007.

Oh my God...  I saw the JACK WHITE in the top right hand corner and thought that was a play on Jackson being white.

I guess they picked that picture because of its freakiness. I keep seeing it on news shelves and shivering, his mouth/chin/nose are so messed up...
