Besides for outwardly asking you out or saying that he likes you, what are some signs that a guy is interested in you?

You see it's easy to tell if a guy is interested in you, the difficult part is finding out what he is interested in, without getting to know him first. He could either 1. want to get laid 2. make you his girlfriend 3. has a partner already and is just having a perve or he's getting an ego boost, knowing your reacting to him.
Anyway here are my tips, make sure you look out for this; (mind you im no relationship expert LOL)
- He picks on you , or makes jokes and then tries to catch your facial expression to see if you laughed
- He talks to everyone but you, or he feels awkward and shy when ever he's around you
- He watches what he says, when his with the boys. Never mentioning another chick is hot, (make sure he's not gay Lol)
- You catch his eye contact longer then normal on a regular basis
There's plenty more, but it depends on the guy. I hope I helped though Lol

I agree with the wanting to be with you instead of his friends. Also though, if he wants to involve you in his interests. Like if he wants to introduce you to interests that he knows you're not neccessarily into, but he is.

He makes an effort to come and talk to you, even for no particular reason.
He stares at you & when you catch him he looks away or smiles.
He asks your friends about you.
