Cursed (by romance) Songs

Do you ever get into a few songs just as you are crushing on someone, and when the crush ends badly, you can't listen to those songs any more because they remind you of bad times?
Anything I heard from the year 2003 is tainted with a dark memory.

Hate it, coz the songs are basically really good! Name your cursed by romance songs. I'll do mine:

Beautiful- Christina Aguilera
St. Patrick's Day- John Mayer
The Beat of a Heart- Warren Bros
Clocks- Coldplay

P.S: How much does 'Cursed by Romance' sound like an emo band-name?

Cursed by Romance, it does sound like a band name. I wondered if it was.
I'll never be able to listen to Clocks by Coldplay without thinking of him.

He's an oldies lover and any music I hear from that era reminds me of him.
Thank God that's not the music I listen to, I'd go crazy.

This Love by Pantera, not exactly a really romantic song, but my ex loved it, and if I listen to it, I think about him, and I'm miserable in seconds. And I used to love that song.

I Can't Make You Love Me (If You Don't) - Bonnie Raitt

Fell very very hard for someone who just didn't feel the same way. At least he was honest and never tried to mislead me, and we are still good friends to this day. But this song always makes me think of the point where I accepted that it was one sided and worked on letting it go.

"The last day of our acquaintance" by Sinead O'Connor still reminds me of that fateful day in 1991, when I found out my ex-fiancee' was cheating on me with his ex. I remember being completely crushed at the time and listening to that song incessantly and sobbing like a baby. Now I'm like, thank goodness he did it because he was a fucking loser. lmao!
