Wow, these are pretty stunning. I really love the Japanese and Spanish ones.

and i looked up this guy's work and it all pretty much looks like murano vomited a rainbow. although of what i saw of his work, his ceiling installation at the bellagio is the nicest.

I saw a documentary years ago about him and he's a nutter that had a cult of glass-blowing apprentices that would travel around with him taking their glass-blowing freakshow on the road. It was so hilarious and bizarre, he was the biggest tool yet they loved him like a messiah.

yeah, i looked him up and was not impressed. it's not art, it's decoration. and tacky decoration that's right at home in vegas at that.
