You guys all live in the most AMAZING places...!! I'm raging with travel lust after seeing your pictures.
Baby, by the time you have kids and they're in school, no one will care about you.

Oh come on, honey. I've been to your hood last week, and I had a blast. But I can understand the desire to get out every once in a while.

Melbourne is located at the top of a very large bay (see pic) so we rarely get proper surf but the beaches are great for swimming and perfect for walking.

Same here. I'd love to live in a place with a little bit of history in the architecture. Everything is so new in the US.

Small world indeed - my mother comes from Yorkshire (Huddersfield) and her ancestors all lived in the Helmsley/Whitby area. Although poor old England has 65 million people crammed in, there are still some amazing wide open spaces with some of the most stunning and diverse landscapes to be found anywhere in the world. I ALMOST feel homesick, but not quite....

My town is featured in this month's "Southern Living" magazine. They did a feature on the Virginia Piedmont area.

Yep. My pictures would pale in comparison to the beautiful places you guys live. And Cynic, I have relatives who live near The Biltmore.

Yep. Gonna remake my travel list.

I'm so in love with Whitby!! Me and the boyf are looking to buy there and move asap! Here's some pics:

The view of St Mary's church with the Abbey looming behind it were what inspired Bram Stoker's Dracula (the town features heavily in the novel too). It's the best place on earth!
