Awesome! Thanks you guys!
Check different websites. Sometimes the website of the airline is more expensive and sometimes it is less then say expedia, lastminute.com,...
Also try different airlines for same route. When I book tickets I always am browsing on different windows and computers at same time. Like some said, Delete all cookies before you go back.
Most airlines also show flights on different dates, so you can choose a cheaper date if you are able to.
Late to the party, but try out skyscanner.net. I booked the third time now using this site - they scan all known travel sites. I also love the possiblity of scanning flights without using an exact travel date - you could for example take a whole month in order to find the cheapest flight possible.
I like cheapoair.com, but I do it in an incognito window (CTRL+SHIFT+N in Chrome) so they don't have search history. The prices are pretty good, but I mainly use it to see which airlines fly wherever I'm going and then go directly to the airline website to see how the prices compare.
