[quote=buttmunch;65702. Although France is the one place I don't love as much. [/quote]

Would you care to explain why?

I live in Canada and I lock my doors at night.

Although I used to leave them unlocked when I lived on an Indian Reservation. No one locks their doors on the Rez. No one even knocks! At best, they might give a small courtesy rap on the door before busting it wide open and strolling over to your fridge to see what's to eat. LOL

    Native pride, baby!

Have to agree on both of those. France is wonderful for the food, the culture, the sights. And the Czech Republic, Prague especially, is simply one of the most beautiful places-the architecture is right out of a fairy tale.

And hey, like Effie, I'll pimp Greece too. Most people are familiar with the draw of the islands, but there are also many places worth visiting on the main land, whether for beaches, culture or natural sights.

I have a big thing for crystal waters, so Greece has always called me. I cannot wait to dip my toes in the Aegean. Always wanted to take that train ride to Banff, Lake Louise in Canada.

    I adore Venice Italy too.

For me, France, mais oui. It feels like my second home.

I spent 6 weeks in Indonesia once and loved it, especially Sumatra. It is a big country with lots of different geography and cultures. I also love France, Italy, Brazil, Buenos Aires, Australia, Jamaica, Greece (although like a lot of Europe it's getting too touristy but I like Rhodes, Santorini and Crete) and I'm going to Vienna, the Czech Republic and Hungary later this year. I've travelled a lot, but there are still places I want to go. And of course, I am lucky enough to live in one of the most beautiful places anywhere.

Iceland - A lot of the landscape looks out of this world, literally.

Liked Canada ALOT. But like the US the most. Just sayin' ..ya know how it is. Some of us just love our home nations the best.

*I think the Greeks and French on here have said as much, so why shouldn't I?

Disliking Sarko doesn't make me an anti-American, Sojita.
