All good. When I was little, I used to play with snails that my parents bought (e.g. snail climbing up the side of the bowl, I'd poke it down and repeat...). One time, when it came time to eating them all hot and steaming, I just couldn't anymore. Moral of the story, 'Don't play with your food'.

Ok, so I have my timetable!
I arrive in the middle of the night Sunday-Monday the thing starts around 3-4pm in the afternoon.
Wednesday we are going on a “field trip” (literally) & overnight stay to a town in the mountains called Sinaia. The mayor is called Vlad.
On the way back we are having dinner and “entertainment” (rumour has it we’re going to Dracula’s castle!!!!!!!)

then back to Bucharest to finish the week. The thing ends mid-afternoon Thursday & I fly back Friday evening.

I actually bought myself a new coat today (Berghaus padded waterproof thing) and a lighter (also padded) Berghaus midlayer. I got 2-3 lightweight sweaters and need to dig out my decent trousers as well as jeans.
Fucking expensive but I figure I’ll get lots of wear out of both plus the sides are stretchy so when (if???) I lose weight they will still fit.
I wore the jacket with a fleece tonight when I went out & was lovely & toasty.

^^Oh those are nice! I have a fall puffer jacket and those are so warm and have been looking for a thicker one to transition to winter. I'll looks those up as I like the midlayer idea. They are fantastic to pack so you should be toasty in Romania. Hope you're enjoying your time there now, come back with a synopsis!
