    It's tacktastic!!

Me and hubbo would be too busy laughing to actually do anything in that playboy bunny's nightmare!

eta-I hope they clean it thoroughly before the next couple go in there...

Default Do you like the look of the Rogner-Bad Blumau Hotel?

Green roofs, round shapes and facades, colours which evoke memories of rainbows create a spirited work of art in the middle of fields and meadows. Rogner Bad Blumau is arranged like a city with various districts. The ring-shaped inside spa is the centre, the diverse accommodation, swimming, bathing and restaurant areas branch from the centre out into the open landscape.

Year round, Rogner Bad Blumau offers what man needs inside and out: nature and warmth.

    (This place is in Austria)

Wellness hotel, thermal spa Rogner Bad Blumau, Hotel styria, Wellness & Spa in Austria Hundertwasser, 4 stars Wellness holiday, Hotel, health care, thermal bath, Therapy

I like it, it seems to suit its surroundings better than rectangular buildings would.

They do a TON of advertising in this area for some of the hotels in the Pocono area.

The actual Pocono's is nothing to write home about, but is apparently starting to make a come back (it was big in the 60's/70's) as there are now Casino's, etc.

I think some of the NYC'ers will jaunt out for the weekend. Not far from NYC.

I've never known ANYONE that has ever personally stayed at one of these um, interesting places.

This brings me back to my childhood when it seemed every other TV commercial was for a Poconos resort like "Beautiful Mount Airy Lodge" which was billed as a honeymooner's retreat complete with heart shaped beds. I see that the tackiness factor still remains.

I wouldn't turn down a free offer to stay there, but it definitely wouldn't be my tenth choice.
