Alright, now that I've learned where you all want to go (from the Where On The World Would You Go thread) I want to know where you've been. Also, what is your favorite place that you've been and why?

i've been in every state in the USA including Hawaii and Alaska thanks to my parents love of driving cross country. my favrite place that i've been is on Route 66. We drove it every year to Richmond VA from California to visit my Aunt. I have SO many memories of driving that historic road!

Spain, France, Italy Switzerland, England, Germany, Austria, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, the Bahamas, and Canada.

My favorite place is Portofino, Italy. The town is picturesque and reminds me of "The Talented Mr. Ripley". The food is amazing especially this pesto lasagna. Yum my mouth is watering right now. Oh and Nice, France is a pretty beautiful place too.

Some countries in the North and South of Africa.

Everywhere in North America, but Alaska

Some countries in Sout East Asia

Central America and Venezuela.

Greece, Cyprus, Austria, Romania, Yugoslavia (still united then), Italy, UK, France, Germany, Ireland, Sweden, Finland, Spain

Was going to visit New York this year but it didn't work out

. And I really want to visit Petra in Jordan and swim in the Dead Sea.

pretty much all of western europe except scandinavia, ireland and scotland. in eastern europe, i've been to hungary, slovakia, slovenia, the czech republic, bulgaria, romania, FYROM, croatia, montenegro, serbia.

in asia, i've only been to turkey.

in africa, i've been to morocco and tunisia.

pretty much the whole east coast and south of the US, the east of canada (must make it to the west coast someday), the south of mexico, guatemala, belize, el salvador, honduras.

and in south america, brazil.

I have lived in 8 states. Mississippi,South Carolina,Louisana,Georgia,Kansas,Alaska and Texas. I have visited most of the others. I also lived in Germany 3 years. Visited Holland,Belguim,Luxenburg,Austria,Switzerland,Fran ce,Ireland.All of these places have great beauty ,all its own. Gerorgia has the most beautiful sunsets. Texas the best sunrise. Mississippi the most beautiful trees with Louisiana right after. Alaska is jaw dropping beauty -Switzerland right behind. The total beauty of Alaska in every season is amazing-the Northern Lights,glaciers-all of it. The best all around state/area with the best of all worlds is Texas! You go from cows grazing to amazing museums and galleries. Rodeo to ballet.Sculptures that are astounding in size and beauty to horses in a field of yellow wildflowers-right around the corner from my house.

Why so many places? Army brat!

South Africa (was a baby so doesn't really count!)

I don't have a favourite and there's oh so many more places I want to see esp USA and Cuba.

I'm in LA. Have traveled to some of Europe, India, New York, Canada. Never been to South America or Australia.

I've been to almost every state except Alaska or Hawaii, Canada and Mexico, but that's it. That will all change though once my son is out of the house. Then, I'm gone overseas for as long as my bank account will hold me.
