Oh good grief I think that's what I was drinking that night. I was disco dancing all right, in some club in Manhattan and some dude actually stuck his hands up my shirt. Bouncer got rid of him and then asked for my number.

Please excuse the hillbilly shortening of the name, y'all

I don't drink either one of those, so combined is a large "ew".

The last time I drank jaegerbombs I was dirty dancing with an 18 year old and picking fights with a lecherous polish guy (I'm sure I fessed up to that on here somewhere). It's the good shit! The last club I was in had a whole selection of bombs, I enjoyed a skittle bomb, an aftershock bomb, and something blackcurrant bomb. It was immense. pssst Sputters and Brookie are boring

I don't drink Red Bull either but when you're that drunk you don't even notice the foulness.

Some of the ladies from my office were drinking those at the Christmas party - they looked absolutely disgusting. All fizzy, no thank you.

I got the same nasty medicinal taste when I've tried some digestifs. Like in Prague everyone loved this Becherovka stuff, tasted herby (maybe minty), I had one sip and hated it.
    That stuff is gross.

You lost me at Guinness. I'll take the Jameson though. Preferably in a good strong coffee with Irish cream.

I got smashed in New York when I was there in September, to be fair I did start drinking around 3pm. I had a $20 "Zombie" cocktail that was served in a skull glass, apparently there was a one-per-customer rule. It had all sorts of stuff in there, including absinthe. I don't remember a lot after that. The next day I was nearly sick on the tube (seriously, why aren't there bins on the platform?!) and then my parents took me to Liberty Island. On a boat. FUN.

I've always found cocktails in the US stronger than in the UK. WAHEY.

No garbage pails on the platforms for a few reasons: 1- NYC is overrun with RATS 2- all the bums would be peeing and pooping in them

Isn't it also so that no one leaves a bomb in there? I don't remember there not being trash cans in the subway, I guess I was never looking for one. I do remember the ones on the street in Paris often have special lids where you cannot fit anything too large inside of them, for the same reason, to guard against bombs.

heh my mum talks of having a zombie cocktail in NY in the late 60s and waking up something like 2 days later in the bath tub wearing nothing but a fur coat - shes 77 now loves telling people that story cos of the shocked looks she gets back
