I liked the shop, I'm not sure we ate there. The logo is cute, from what I remember.

I guess it also depends on where you live. I'm lucky enough that pretty much anything I want - food-wise and entertainment-wise - is within 15/20 minutes tops. When I visit my out-of-state family, they often have to travel 40/45 minutes for certain things they need. So basically, I'm spoiled, and like Bee said, "I ain't driving 30 minutes for Cracker Barrel" lol

Which is why I've never had it. If I'm going as far as CB I'm going to Popeyes chicken damnit. My work commute is about 15 minutes and that's o ly going through 3 lights thank god. They're always red though.

For us, we would probably only go to a restaurant that is within 15 minutes drive. Unless it was a really special place.
I used to have a commute of 16 miles. It took me over an hour to get there & 15-20 mins to get home due to the traffic.

    Fair enough.
where I live/work now the "locals" think that going to the next big town is a day trip; I live not quite half way between the two & prefer to shop at the other place. I also have to listen to an idiot *colleague whine about his mileage that he does every two weeks when I can do that between finishing work & bedtime.... But as I said basically he's an idiot.
And then I've done nearly 20,000 miles in my car since I got it.... Good job MrN put a decent radio in & my handsfree kit.

I'll see if I can find it online again for you. I'm thinking Novice posted it in recipes.

We don't have White Castle here, but we do have Krystals around here and I've always heard they're about the same. Anyone had both and can vouch for that?

I haven't had a "real" White Castle but that recipe was better than Krystals IMO.

Note to US and Canadian retailers: Can you PLEASE include the sales and other taxes to your price tags so what we see is what we actually pay? Showing the pre-tax AKA cheaper price fools nobody except naive forners like me who get a nasty surprise at the till.

Not gonna happen. For instance, the city/county tax changes city by city by state. Almost impossible. Consumers living on the edge of two counties will pay different taxes depending on which county they are in. My zip code covers 2 counties,so I am asked which one I reside in before tax can be calculated as I check out.
