Did you see any people at the side of the road pleasuring themselves?

    1. insects. like those giant mexican ants people eat deep fried and in tacos. i can't. i'm sure they're delicious but bugs gross me the fuck out and the thought of putting one in my mouth freaks me out.

    2. beef tongue. i've tried it. my mother made it a lot growing up but i never liked the consistency. which is weird since i'll eat brains and everything else. i won't puke it out or anything and if someone served it at a dinner i'd eat it but i'm not a fan.

    3. flan. and by extension, custard and crème patissière and anything of the sort.

    4. white chocolate

    5. tiramisù

    6. christmas fruit cakes.

actually there are lots of sweets and desserts that i think are gross but those are the worst offenders.

See, I'd eat all of that no worries although tongue isn't my fave. I'd still eat it if someone took the trouble to cook it. I've never had the opportunity to try bugs but provided they're nice and crispy they are probably no worse than prawns (bugs of the sea). Like I say, the only thing I've tried that made me gag were those bloody Chinese moon cakes.

Sput, fruitcake is disgusting. I can't even go there.

A*O, those moon cakes sound vile.

I've had moon pie. Was alright. I would probably try anything once, only thing I find completely repellent thus far is coconut.

Did it have the hard boiled duck egg in the middle? Nothing wrong with eggs, but not inside a nasty cake please.

Fruitcake (with Brandy/rum) is nectar of the gods! My mum still uses her 1950s woman's own/woman's realm recepie & it's fab! She makes us Xmas cake every year.

I "love" fruitcake, especially the dark and moist types made from old recipes.
Nothing better with a cup of tea, YUM!

I was a fussy eater growing up, but I'll eat many things now, even lobster tomalley.

My mum makes a delicious proper rich fruit Christmas cake too. Family recipe from grandma and her mother before that too no doubt. It's rich but not heavy some of them. The covering of marzipan is a problem because Ma is an addict and eats it before it goes on the cake so I have to do that and then quickly whack on the icing. Then the silver balls and little plastic reindeer. Ho Ho Ho.

So, real fruitcake doesn't have those nasty green and red slices of nastiness? I'm not sure what in the hell those oogly, gelatinous looking, candied little pieces of hell are.

Candied Angelia? Can't stand it, doesn't make it into our fruit cakes!

She keeps it under lock & key which is why she makes ours. Incidentally we still have done from last year that we're gradually hacking away at... Nom nom nom...

Plastic robin & Holly for us, & a red ribbon. I have quite a collection now because I keep forgetting to give them back... Lol!

Fruit cake is lovely. My mum uses a really old recipe too for the Xmas cake. It has raisins and sultanas, none of that other stuff!
