Default Shangri-La’s Far Eastern Plaza Hotel, Taipei

Centrally located in Taipei’s business center, Shangri-La’s Far Eastern Plaza Hotel offers world-class cuisine, stunning accommodation, and dramatic views of the city’s skyline.
The sleek and modern interior design is a blend of Eastern and Western influences, with gleaming marble floors, elegant dark woods, and Sung Dynasty inspired artworks. Rooms are exquisitely decorated in creamy neutral tones, and feature high-ceilings, state-of-the-art amenities, and spectacular views.
The hotel’s prize-winning restaurants serve everything, from Japanese and Cantonese cuisines to gorgeous Italian fare, while the spa – perched on the 40th floor – includes a fabulous rooftop swimming pool and an ultramodern fitness center.

Yeah, me too! Can you imagine just watching the night overtake the city from that dining room? Sigh.

A friend of mine went to Singapore while on vacation to stay at this hotel just so she could swim in the pool. It was $300 for one night. She thought it was worth it.

$300 for a night, shit, that's potato chips for some 4 and 5 star joints here in America. I'd be up for it, any GR'ers want to go in on a suite?

A buddy of mine posted some pics when he was at that pool in Singapore. I was immediately googling plane fares.

My friend says that Cesky Krumlov in the Czech Republic is called the fairytale city. The place looks otherworldly. I'll share her photos. She takes amazing photos during her travels.

Been there, pool is amazing and I am glad I went, really nice but wouldn't go back. The Lobby is in a mall and it is so busy. It takes ages to check in and they are not very friendly.
