Um... pictures lie. Sure, there are some things that are pretty I guess but I'm bored out of my mind here. If you go a little to the left and zoom in a lot in the first pic, this is what you get

But I guess when you like somewhere you don't see the beauty and only the bad things?

Yeah, it can be somewhat, um, calm here but it is a lovely city, particularly right now with everything turning green and the sun shining all day and soon nearly all night.

I will say that Lydmar has a fab hotel bar. They were in another building, it got bought and they opened up a new place recently and it's a great place to go for drinks. Where do you live, Shelly? Inomtull or utom?

sometimes the things i like most about the city i live in are the less than beautiful things, like the smell of beer & fries in the early morning in the student neighbourhood, the drunks in the gutter, the ripped posters and graffiti, the busloads of tourists everyday, the terrible smell of the river in summer, the uneven sidewalks, the dirty facades, the unidentifiable statues in the parcs, the massive amount of careless cyclists, that street right in the middle of the centre with a clothesline overhead where everybody hangs their old used sneakers onto etc. etc.

I like graffiti, not the kind like in the pic I posted but bigger stuff you know.

I like outside of the city so I guess that's utom tullarna. (I love the swedish english mix, it's underbart!)
