Default Where to spend a weekend

    hey
my mum has a birthday in april (end of april) and im planning a girls-weekend-get-away as a present (for my mum, my sister and i).

id really appreciate if you guys can recommend places to stay for a long weekend in europe (england or scotland too). maybe something like paris where everything is walking distance, that'd be great!

france, germany, poland and prague are off-list because she's already been there.

    thanks a bunch!

yes, vienna is gorgeous! i lived there for 2 years and have visited countless times (my parents were there for 7 years). it's is a gorgeous city.
and if you go in early december, you'll have all the christmas markets.

i also really recommend brussels. it's an underrated city and is really great if you're into art and architecture.

London is my number one choice, although Stockholm or Copenhagen are good since they're relatively small. Brussels is also good for a weekend.

Amsterdam, or maybe Italy? Florence, Venice, etc. ? Italy sounds very romantic. Not that I have had the pleasure to visit Europe, but still.
