I had no idea Monica used any form of surgery. I thought she was the most 'naturaly' beautiful woman in the world??!

I tried the collagen plumping lipstick stuff and I liked the results because it made my lips look noticeable without actually creating a new shape.
I haven't seen any injections that I think look positive. But I'm pretty anti-PS for the most part.

Would you be more or less likely to vote for Hilary Clinton is she got collagen lips?

Hello all,
The funny thing about lip injections is the extreme difference between what different people say is their goal. I tend to like mild enlargements but they don't last long. I will likely stop doing them soon as the material expires and because I won't do large ones the material I buy can go out of date before I use it. I have a bunch that I will discard in late February for example unless they are used.
I am more of a breast and body surgeon anyway.

Hi, I've followed your blog and flickr stream - thanks for putting the info out there.
Which injectible do you think gives the most natural looking results? Collagen looks like despite the best efforts of the doctor, it moves around too much and gets uneven.
Also, which injectible tends to produce the most reactions (swelling, redness, pain, etc.)?

I like Captique the best although it doesn't last very long. It seems to have little inflammation (like Restylane) and if injected into the deep dermis (skin) it doesn't really move much. Large injections look as unnatural as with any other filler though.

I wish they'd show the model without lipstick. Then you could see the subtle difference.
You really don't want the lips to be over-inflated.
The desired result would be naturally juicey, rather than Lisa Rinna's ridiculous futon lips.
