Britt Eckland is the latest aging star to succumb to 'trout pout'

Oh dear it looks like style icon and actress Britt Eckland has become the latest aging celebrity to succumb to plastic surgery and has ended up with a dreaded 'trout pout'.

Watching ITV1's afternoon chat show Loose Women, viewers couldn't help but wonder if Eckland had opted for collagen implants as her expanded lips covered in shiny lip gloss stole the show. Scroll down for more...

Loose lips: Britt reveals her new 'trout pout'

Eckland, 65, maintained the ridiculous pout as she discussed her infamous marriage to the late actor and comedian Peter Sellers.
That relationship was doomed to fail because "he wanted a full-time wife", Britt told the Loose Women team.
Eckland's career and lovelife have always traded on her sexual allure.

Ekland became famous as a result of her 1964 whirlwind romance and marriage to Sellers, who proposed after seeing her photograph in the paper.
She stood by him after he suffered a series of massive heart attacks shortly after their marriage, and in 1965 they had a daughter, Victoria.
In 1974 she appeared in her most famous acting role as Bond Girl Mary Goodnight alongside Roger Moore's 007 in The Man With The Golden Gun. Her other films include a highly erotic scene with Michael Caine in the British classic Get Carter and a sensuous episode during her role as an insatiable nymphomaniac in The Wicker Man.

She was heartbroken when she discovered he had been having an affair behind her back.
Britt said: "I was very much in love with him and when it ended the way it did it was painful. I was anorexic."
"I don't have any regrets, even from the most difficult times in my life, when Peter was being so unstable, and later when I found out Rod had been unfaithful to me. I'm just glad to have had a good life"
She also had a string of affairs with some of the most glamorous and successful stars of the Sixties and Seventies, including Warren Beatty, George Hamilton, and Ryan O'Neal.

I don't know... Her lips do look big, but then again they always were. I was watching an old movie with her in it (can't remember the name - it was a bunch of short horror stories based in a psychaitric hospital), and I couldn't stop staring at her lips the entire time.
Now they seem to be too big at the corners to be natural; that seems to be a hallmark of trout pouts

Agreed, she always did have full lips. But usually they get thinner
with age, so she probably tried to maintain her pout and went
overboard. She definitely had her eyes done.

I am in complete denial. I refuse to believe that she looks like this. She was one of the original rock star girlfriends. Rod/Britt, Cher/Gregg and Mick/Bianca were voted hottest couples in 1975. Back to my hole in the ground.

LOL, I know what you mean, GF.

You look at these people
and you just realize how much time has past since their
prime. You know she (claims she) was one of Warren's squeezes.
So, looking at him now, you KNOW (unfortunately) that this
really must be the way she looks like now, oy.

And Meg Ryan, sheesh, don't even get me started on her.
Never a beauty to begin with, but the play-doh face she
got after all the injectables and troutpout silly putty....

Well I am not surprised to read that she was anorexic. I think she may still have a touch of that now. Her main problem is that she is too damn thin. Look at her scrawny upperbody/shoulder and neck area. The best thing she could do for her looks is to gain some damn weight. She does not look so old as she looks sickly..ya know? And the lips look bad, but they are taking only the pics where she is talking or whatever when they are at their worst. They are not nearly as bad as the other two shown.

Why pump up the upper lip so big? I don't get it.
Does Hollywood know no sublety? I can see doing
bottom lip a little, but the top lip seems to really go
very crazy from these injections. Why not back off the
dosage a little?

Hey they're rapidly gettin' there. Poor old Brit is starting to look like Dr Joyce Brothers.

You know they say that Sellars had those heart attacks with Brit 'cause he'd use poppers - amyl nitrate - during sex.

I have to admit I'm okay with this, since I preferred Maud Adams.

My fantasies are still intact, for now.
