Serious question: do you guys think that when these women leave the doctor's studio they actually like the result and thank the doctor for fulfilling their desire so accurately, or they feel like things slipped a little out of hand?

Who knows what goes on in these delluded women's minds? They're so desperate to look 'perfect' their vision is clouded my peer pressure and other gorgeous celebs. Its like when they think they're fat because you can't quite count all of their ribs!

I was thinking that maybe, just maybe, the Goretex thingies
that are implanted in the lip sort of "slip around" and shift
within the lip tissue. And maybe it takes about half a day for
this to happen. Maybe it moves when she sleeps.

So Lara gets her lip implant/collagen thingie done, and it looks
fine in the doctor's office, but before she goes to bed she looks
in the mirror and OOPS! there's swelling on one side...

(Kind of like when you get a brand new haircut -- it looks great when you
leave the salon, but when you try to duplicate it the next day,
it just looks BOTCHED.)

O.k. My sister got her lips injected and she said when she was handed the mirror she bursted out laughing b/c she looked rediculous! The nurse assured her the swelling would go down and she said it did. Her husband kept asking her what happened to her lip and she tried lying at first then he got a closer look and asked again and she admitted what she had done. He knows she's a little nutty as far as vanity so he just laughed it off.
