I was born in 78, but don't remember much of the 80's at all.. not sure why. I remember the movies and the fucking FANTASTIC 80's kids toys (Transformers, GI JOE) but fashion and music were pretty much non-entities in my world.

My sister begged for an Atari 6800 for ages and ages, we got one for Christmas and we played Pole Position until our thumbs fell off. And then the first Nintendo came out and that was the beginning of the end. Super Mario Brothers AND Duck Hunt?? Forgeddaboutit.

Don't worry about what other people think. They don't do it very often.

Oh dear god, just running through that little forest burning trees... I know people (they WERE adults) who had their whole walls covered in "maps" of that game.

I was absolutely addicted to Zelda. There was another game that I played all the time. I think it was called Contra?
