Just like the Greeks. I climbed the Acropolis in a t-shirt in December. I could always spot the locals all bundled up as if there was some imaginary blizzard.
Hello mother fucker! when you ask a question read also the answer instead of asking another question on an answer who already contain the answer of your next question!

Melbn gets hot in summer (+30C and upwards) but we have low humidity - unlike Sydney - so its very pleasant. Locals are total sooks when it comes to "cold". Anything under 16C (61F) and they're whimpering. My Viking blood laughs at their pathetic ness.

My sis used to get some brutal winters in Calgary. The wind chill is the kicker. After 25 years she had enough and moved to BC.

I may need to go to Sydney to see this "snow" of which you speak. If I drive 8 hours anywhere, my choices are desert, desert, Bunbury and Indian Ocean.

The "snow" is actually in the Snowy Mountains (yes, typical Australian place-naming originality) which are on the NSW/Vic border. You'd be better off going to Melbourne which is a much closer drive.

Although sometimes there's snow in the Blue Mountains (like maybe once or twice a decade) but the roads practically shut down because we're not equipped to handle it so it's not like you can go gawk at it unless you live there.

But come to Sydney anyway, we have other things besides snow!
