Is this book serious? Are they really saying that Uncle Pete saying "sorry" is going to make everything okay? Magically fix things? Once a sicko, always a sicko. What Uncle Pete needs is to be locked up.
And that "I'm not gay, just abused. Thank goodness!" thing. What the hell? Like it's something attributed to your environment.
Well, it is self-published! No reputable publisher would touch this thing with a ten foot pole.
"The howling backwoods that is IMDB is where film criticism goes to die (and then have its corpse gang-raped, called a racist, and accused of supporting Al-Qaeda)" ----Sean O'Neal, The Onion AV Club
^ That is good to hear. Who would publish that kind of crap? It is so disturbing on more than one level. The outcome is pretty insane too - so being gay is worse than being abused, and crying and apologizing makes up for sexual abuse?
Creepy!!! That book is gross and creepy!
I really hope this book is banned from my kids' school library.
There is just so many mixed up messages in there that I don't know where to begin.....
How bizarre. Self published makes sense. Aside from the message, the first part is written in the present. He needed an editor, then lighter fluid and a match.
