Well, then at least he tried...

I don't think he'd do this if he didn't believe it would save his marriage.

I think that no matter what effort he puts into keeping his wife and saving their marriage, the betrayal can't just be erased. If it were me, the fact that he cheated on me would eat at me for a long time (possible forever) and i would be very resentful to him no matter what he did to make up for it. You just can't pretend that shit didn't happen because last week your husband embarassed himself and broadcast your dirty laundry for the whole world to see. In fact, I would feel worse that other people knew.

Happy trails to you...until we meet again.
I love & miss you Dad.

I don't care what I did, I ain't standing on the side of the road for nobody's ass.... he should've added a little something to the back like: "Because my wife is a fucking bitch with putrid pussy"...

I don't agree with it. Honestly, if a woman cheated on her man, and he made her do this, lots of people wouldn't find it quite so funny.

Honestly at first I have a feeling that the wife is doing this to make sure no one else wants him and she'll still leave his ass...Who knows though?

He spoke to some radio stations and here's a Podcast of one interview on the radio station I listen to.
The title of the podcast is 8/27: William Taylor Cheat Interview

I'm also questioning what woman would suggest this. Is it a control thing that maybe was a problem before (and possibly the reason for) he cheated? Who would want so many people to know their spouse cheated? Sure, he'll be humiliated, but so will the spouse who made him wear the stupid sign.

Happy trails to you...until we meet again.

I get what you're saying and I somewhat agree but it raises another point--I've never understood this mentality that the person who was cheated on should be ashamed. The fault and shame lies with the cheater, I never ever assume it's somehow a shortcoming on the cheatee's part. That's ridiculous.

I agree with whoever said it won't save the marriage though.

I agree with Beeyotch, I'm amazed at how many of you are blaming the victim. It doesn't matter if she's a control freak or not, he chose to marry her. No behavior or character trait excuses cheating. If you don't want to be with your wife/husband then leave them. I think that stepping outside of your marriage is the ultimate betrayal and I, personally, don't think I would ever get over it. At least she came up with something that he could do to make her feel better. It doesn't matter if it is what you'd do, it's what she decided would make HER feel better. I find it amazing that people are so quick to judge what should and shouldn't make other people feel better.

Truthfully, no one 'made' him do it. She gave him a choice (do it or we break up) and he made his choice, just like he made the choice to fuck somebody else. He could have said 'fuck you' and walked out.

I agree. It's like rape victims being 'ashamed' as though something must be wrong with them or they must have done something wrong to cause what happened.
