    Yep, my aunt who sews a lot says the same thing. Wal-Mart still offers a large fabric line online, but you can't buy fabric online. You need to feel it and stuff.

    That is exactly what happened here. They re-vamped our Wal-Mart about a year and a half ago and completely elimated the fabric section.

    ^^I wonder if it depends on where the store is located and the demand for fabric? My local store has a pretty extensive selection of fabrics, craft items, even a row of wedding items and Wilton baking supplies.

    I think it depends on how quickly they go through the remodels. There are like 3 that are close to me, 2 of which have been remodeled and each one had pretty extensive craft sections until the remodel. The 2 remodeled ones now have a tiny little corner for crafts now with the WORST selection. It's making me drive an extra 20 minutes to Hobby Lobby, which blows since they are closed on Sundays ontop of it.

    Well, there's been no remodel here yet, but a Super WM has been proposed for a while (opinions are quite divided on the subject).
