I don't know. Some of those are genuinely cute.

This one concerns me. Everyone looks brainwashed and miserable except Grandma and mom.

However, the number of Cosplayers who wind up on awkwardfamilyphotos.com concerns me. Sure there is something funny about people who take cosplay incredibly seriously in tandem with their costumes being completely ridiculous, but tt saddens me that there is obviously a generous number of people who would find a father and his two children dressed as Jedi and goofing off with light sabers 'awkward'.

‎'Hahaha, look at those nerds in costume having a good time together! That's hilarious! You know, the part where they're having a good time...and in costume..."

^ I was wondering, too. Many of them are not awkward. They just pose in costumes.

    I like the Jedi one

And of course the X-men one

I saw that and just thought to myself, "OK, next Halloween when I get my kids to dress up as the Avengers with me, I have to get a really good picture of it!."

    LOL

I think my favorite one of the ones I posted was the one with the girls foot in the picture because her sister pushed her out at the last minute! HAHAHAHA
~Madness, as you know, is like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

A lot of these were hilarious (not in a mean spirited way). I love the Jedis and the Xmen. The one where she pushed her sister out is hysterical and the guys with the bald heads is great. Even the guy strangling his son is funny. Clearly it was meant to be a joke.

That's my favourite. The kids are having a ball, and it's hilarious. I love the one where the father is biting the baby's head and the look of horror on the mother's face.

“My ex-husband surprised me after work with a birthday cake. I wanted a picture of my son and I for the scrapbook so was leaning forward to get closer to him. I had not been to the hairdresser’s in 2 years and had age inappropriate hair at the time. The candles took care of that and luckily, my husband managed to put out the flames with his bare hands once he realized what was happening. Of course, he missed the shot of me screaming my head off. I’ve been going for regular trims since.”

“This is a picture of me, my sister, and my brother. It was unfortunate that my sister and I attended the same hairdresser the previous evening trying to look presentable for our family photo shoot the next day.”

Baby, by the time you have kids and they're in school, no one will care about you.
