Default Thank God I wasn't on a diet in the '70's

This is absolutely one of the most hilarious things I've seen in ages (although I'm sure Weight Watchers never intended them to be!) The side comments are priceless.

Don't bother reading the intro - just start by clicking on the small diet cards on the right... I believe the first one is entitled "Cabbage Casserole Czarina"...

I hope that you can see that this is a jellied salad. Do you see it glisten? Do you require a close-up to understand that these beans and mushrooms and pimiento strips are one solid, glistening mass? Okay!

Hey - we had a thread with pictures of jellied salads .. they are NOT pretty!

Jellied salads? I think I might be ill.

These are the saddest diet beverages ever.
The one on the right is skim milk and orange pulp. The one on the left is made with water, sherry extract, and two beef bouillon cubes.
    No, really.
Well, there's also celery in it. Oh, and SELF-LOATHING

well, one time I had so much beer that I passed out before I could eat, does that count as a diet drink - it was Miller Lite!

You are Fluffy Mackerel Pudding!! You somehow manage to combine seafood and dessert into your wonderfully fluffy world. We should all be as tolerant of New Taste Sensations. And of big-yolked eggs.

Wow gross. I'm all for exotic foods, but these just look cheap and inedible.

What's even more funny is the drapery/shower curtains, candles, and ornaments lying around each dish.

You are Rosy Perfection Salad!! Though your name may be innocent and cheerful, your jello-sweet exterior hides a foul, sinister core.

    that thing is scary.

You are Fish 'Tacos.' You might think you're exotic and worldly-wise, but in reality you're just a bunch of crap on toast. Repeat after me: 'just because you put something in quotation marks doesn't make it so.' And 'taco' isn't Spanish for 'toast.'
