Check all of the statements that are true:
You only know five spices: salt, pepper, ketchup, bbq sauce, and Ranch dressing.
You're always "fixin'" to do something.
If it's under 65 degrees, you put a jacket on.
Most of your vacations have been family reunions.
You've been to a festival for a fruit, vegetable, grain, or animal.
those are all so fuckin' funny!

    ***You Are 16% Texas***

Not surprising, I guess, since most of these apply to the whole southern U.S. and not just Texas.

Zero for me too, hehe. Lucky for me I've always managed to escape 'Cornfest' in my hometown - that was the only close call.

I grew up in Houston and I consider myself to be a hardcore Texan. This test is pretty inaccurate. Most of the questions are just stereotypes about small towns and have nothing to do with Texas. If you grew up in a major Texas city like Houston, Dallas, Austin, or San Antonio, you'll fail this test.

Off the top of my head, I can think of some topics that would be more accurate in determining how Texan a person is:
    Texas country music (BIG one)
    Tex-Mex
    everything being in Spanish
    Whataburger
    Taco C
Walking outside and finding an armadillo in your yard
    Politics
Field trips to Goliad and the Alamo
Being terrified that you'll go to jail for picking bluebonnets
Getting Sausage links at at a bbq restaurant (when I tried to do this in SC people laughed at me)
    Texas pride
    UT/A&M rivalry
    Texas sports teams
Ability to identify other Texans almost immediately after seeing/meeting them
    Two stepping
Referring to "Texas our Texas" as the "Texas National Anthem"
Learning all of the "State Symbols" every year in school from K-12

    You Are 48% Texas

At first, you seem Texan... but just because a chicken has wings don't mean it can fly.

Not bad, my dad is a Texahoman, so I expected I'd be a bit Texan.
