That glistening blob is Peter Kay, a British 'entertainer.' He is well-known for miming the song "Is This the Way to Amarillo." As a consequence, British people are constantly asking me if I know the way to Amarillo. Y'know, since I'm from Texas. Yuk yuk yuk. Guess that's that dry, witty British sense of humor I keep hearing about.

I love most british comedians, Benny Hill, Mr. Bean, the Ab Fab women, and of course Monty Python!

I think you have to pronounce it with a gayer lilt to your voice,
so it sounds like, "Oh rilly?"

Peter Kay has a new standup video out that is absolutely hilarious. I just saw it in London and laughed my ass off, despite being repelled by his sweaty vistage.

I love Peter Kay he's hilarious, but I guess you have to have that dry, witty British sense of humour to appreciate him.

Those are so old, though. I've never met a British person EVER who liked Benny Hill, and a lot of people here are sick to death of Mr Bean, Ab Fab, and Monty Python. Younger people here think Monty Python is really stupid. It's kind of sad that we have to reach back at least a DECADE to find quality British comedy.

Seriously though, there have been a couple of good comedies here in the last few years. Check out The Office, Little Britain, and Extras. Those are VERY good.
