I'm on her side. It's her freaking wedding day and her hair turned out like totally freaking CRAP.

I've known plenty of women this has happened to, including me. Many stylists seriously have a schadenfreude problem and should be fired. They love to make you look bad and get paid for it. I never go to stylists anymore. Everyone thinks I do though.

She was on a deadline, had very little time, it looked horrible and there were people buzzing around. And the friend getting off on her freakout? Bitch.

She will need serious meds though if she ever has children.

Lol, no I am very much female - just not completely unhinged. C'mon, she's flipping out over her hair - it's not even bad enough where its unfixable, it just need some tweaking. Her friend is trying to help her fix it and she's throwing herself on the floor and shreiking like a 4-year-old throwing a tantrum. I would've laughed at her too - or at least slapped her to snap her out of it. The Shirley Temple comment was pretty unnecessary though.
And chopping it off? Yeah, that's a totally understandable reaction. That'll fix it. I do hope she didn't pay the bitch that "styled" it though.

Oh no, that wasn't fake. Trust me. I've seen worse on other people. I melted down like that when my beautiful dog was hit by a fast-moving SUV and died instantly. I'm sure a lot of people in here have had meltdowns. It's just not something you talk about much or necessarily admit. And yes, I think hair is a bona fide reason to lose it on your wedding day. Her hair looked like shit. I wouldn't go as far as she did by cutting it off, though.

If you have a hair style you don't like, wedding day or not, hacking away at it with a pair of scissors isn't going to fix it. Calmly ask the person who did it to try again. Her hair looked like it had just had the curlers in it and hadn't yet been combed and set. OR she should have found a pic of the style she wanted and discussed it with the stylist well in advance. Bridezillas micro-manage every single fucking detail of 'Their Day' and I'd say making sure the hair stylist knew exactly what was expected was important enough to even do a 'trial run' a few days/weeks beforehand so everyone is clear.

Like all Bridezillas I don't think the hair was the issue here, it was a minor glitch that sent her over the edge after weeks and months of obsessing about a fucking wedding.

Agreed. I knew pretty much what I wanted and my niece added a few of her own creative touches. The result was great.

This woman went right off the dial -- I can't believe her friends couldn't talk her down. I would have been drinking champagne right from the bottle at that point. Gator is right, she needed heavy meds, or a good slap to stem the hysteria.

Erm, no he won't...................... I give this one 18 months tops.

All she had to do was comb the rats nest out and pin it up. It would have been fine. Actually, I think she walked out of the salon before the stylist had even finished. I heard the names Esther and Susanna? in there. Oh scary, a JAP Bridezilla.
