Re: Vampires. We all know that vampires can only survive by drinking human blood. If each vampire finds a victim (who then also becomes a vampire) say, once a month, did you know that after only 2.5years everyone on the whole planet would be a vampire?? And then all the vampires would die of starvation because they don't drink each other's blood, although I think they can survive on the odd rat, so then we'd have a world full of vampire rates too!!!

By Buffy vamp lore then this is true.
The Straight out bite and become one rule is more Werewolf, but you need to survive the bite to become a WW. The same rule would apply to the 'Vamp world' concept - the vamps would need to leave the victim alive.
