I love the tubelike purple/black/green/white one. And the celeb/monster one.

Love the peripheral vision one; the other ones were starting to bring on a migraine.

So why do we see monsters out of our peripheral vision anyway? Is it some kind of instinctual thing to make us perceive danger out of the corners of our eyes or something? That is so weird.

^ I think it's something to do with seeing the two images together. In our peripheral vision, the differences in their facial features seem greatly exaggerated, making both celebs look monstrous in comparison to each other. Giant chin over there, freakishly dark eyes over here, that sort of thing. There was a thread or a post on here about it somewhere, I think, it was pretty cool.

That is definitely really cool, I'll look around for the thread on that. I love that kind of stuff!

I love that kind of stuff. Thanks for sharing. The Rubik's cube one reminds me of those sidewalk chalk artists that make those fantastic drawings that are to perspective only when looking at it dead on.

I love these too, thanks for posting. I think also with the distorted faces, if you look at each picture individually (and normally) they're all chosen because they accentuate each actor's biggest feature, like Chinny's chin or Nicole's giant forehead, or they look particularly broad faced like the one of Natalie Portman, which helps add to the exaggeration.

None of them worked for me until I started moving my eyes over the image. If I just stare at the middle (like I normally do) nothing happens. I still can't get the rotating snakes to rotate, but the beans are now waving.
