I'm going to go pumpkin shopping next week, I can't wait. Has anyone ever cooked the stuff you scrape out? I've never tried.

I don't know about the 'guts', but the seeds are heavenly roasted. The actual pumpkin shell is what most recipes use. The slimy gut stuff doesn't have a use as far as I know.

Hmm, will have a look, don't think anyone actually eats pumpkins in England. Gone through a weird cooking phase lately, will have a look.
