Didn't know where to post this. Saw it and just felt compelled to share with
y'all. He's gonna write a book, you know.

Just some classic quotes from the man, so that we're reminded of what
    we can expect:

"You teach a child to read, and he or her will be able to pass a literacy test."
    -Townsend, Tenn., Feb. 21, 2001

"I know how hard it is for you to put food on your family."
--Greater Nashua, N.H., Chamber of Commerce, Jan. 27, 2000

"I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully."
    --Saginaw, Mich., Sept. 29, 2000

    "They misunderestimated me."
    --Bentonville, Ark., Nov. 6, 2000

"Families is where our nation finds hope, where wings take dream."
    --LaCrosse, Wis., Oct. 18, 2000

"Rarely is the questioned asked: Is our children learning?"
--Florence, South Carolina, Jan. 11, 2000

"As yesterday's positive report card shows, childrens do learn when
standards are high and results are measured
    ."
--on the No Child Left Behind Act, Washington, D.C., Sept. 26, 2007

"There's an old saying in Tennessee -- I know it's in Texas, probably
in Tennessee -- that says, fool me once, shame on --shame on you.
Fool me -- you can't get fooled again.
    "
    --Nashville, Tenn., Sept. 17, 2002

Literally LMAO over here, but as a lifelong Michigan resident, surrounded by 5 Great Lakes, I can tell you that we have been doing this successfully for quite some time. I have never had a fish attempt to mug me, take my wallet, or move uninvited into my home. It CAN be done.

I miss George Bush just because he was so damn funny. The only funnier politician who I can remember was Dan Quayle. Here are a few Quayle quotes to remind you of his brilliance too:

The Holocaust was an obscene period in our nation's history. I mean in this century's history. But we all lived in this century. I didn't live in this century.

I believe we are on an irreversible trend toward more freedom and democracy - but that could change.

[It's] time for the human race to enter the solar system.

What a waste it is to lose one's mind. Or not to have a mind is being very wasteful. How true that is.

When I have been asked during these last weeks who caused the riots and the killing in L.A., my answer has been direct and simple: Who is to blame for the riots? The rioters are to blame. Who is to blame for the killings? The killers are to blame.

We have a firm commitment to NATO, we are a *part* of NATO. We have a firm commitment to Europe. We are a *part* of Europe.

From the quotes above, it's clear to me that anyone who thinks they don't have what it takes to be vice president, or even president, of the United States of America just has low self esteem.
I have opinions of my own -- strong opinions -- but I don't always agree with them. - George W. Bush

thank you!!! I forgot how hilarious Dan Quayle was. I think Obama should have picked him as his running mate, because we could use some Capitol Comedy right about now...........
