Why is it that some people take offense to the statement, "It's okay, I never shot up"? I'm referring to drugs.
I am sorry if I posted this in the wrong thread, I wasn't sure where it belongs.
Why is it that people are aggravated by that? Someone on this forum mentioned it, and it stuck with me, and I don't understand why it was said.
Does the person who said it mean that all other drug-taking is negated and automatically wiped away if not taken by the needle? You can blow me all ways from home (in the old days, that is). Blow me dry and call me "Dusty!" Haven't snorted a thing now for about fourteen years. *rubbing shoulder proudly*
Or does it mean that someone who says, "I never shot up" looks upon those who do use needles with a scathing, superior attitude?
I'd like your input, please. BTW, Bill is a former meth (needle) user, so I am not judging either way.
