The Santa wearing the mask is by far the creepiest.

    ^^OMFG at the last one.

I was scared of Santa when I was little. There are maybe 1 or 2 pictures of me with Santa, compared to a full array through the years for my siblings.

Both my kids were SoS (scared of Santa) too. I wonder if it's genetic? I think I have 1 Santa pic of my oldest, and none of my youngest. She was afraid of all costumed character-type things.

I have a pic at Disneyland. We waited for maybe 40 minutes to get a picture taken with Mickey Mouse. When we finally got up there, she screamed. There's a picture of me laughing my ass off with her squalling like a stuck pig--I had to laugh b/c of how this 'special' moment turned out.

I love the pic with the kid running away. Neither one of my kids is what you would call easy. Every year I'd try to take photos of them dressed up by the tree for the Christmas card. One year my daughter, then aged 6, got really angry at me and mooned us. So there are the two girls, dressed so demurely and posing as they hang ornaments on the tree--and the oldest is clearly mooning us.

It is my favorite picture and she has tried to destroy it--she is 18 now. I always tell her that I must have it because when I am sitting in the old ladies home I need to be able to look at it and laugh my ass off.

The best times with my kids have always been the times I didn't expect.
