I'm 5'5 and joke about being short! [Even though yes, I know 5'5 is just like right smack dab average for a woman.] It's just that more of my girlfriends than not are taller than me.

Guess I won't be joking about being short if I ever run into her!

The average height I've heard is 5'3.5/5'4 so you're actually above average

I swear I've read 5'4/5'5 is 'average' but if 5'3/5'4 is now the new average then I'll take it!!!

I've always wanted to be a few inches taller.

My true height is 5'5 but I've gotten so many different readings that it's seriously fucked with me.

My official medical records say I've been 5'5 since I was 10 years old. <---which is what I go by and my doctor had been my doctor since I was 3!

Another time I got my height taken I was 5'6...and then when I was training for the Air Force my recruiter kept telling me she was getting me at 5'4...which I KNOW for a fact wasn't right!

^The only reason this was made into as big a deal as it was was that that 1 inch difference completely put me in a tailspin of excessive dieting/exercise and fucked up my height/weight requirements. It ended up being okay though and I ended up going below what's required.

However, she assured me that it was their equipment and that it wasn't unusual to get people either an inch taller or shorter than normal.

^^Being short does open up the dating pool if height is your thing - most men are taller than you are.

My best friend is 6' and she's definitely no freak.

Men oogle at her everywhere she goes...which is why I hate going to clubs with her, haha. It's so easy to be overlooked when my best friend towers over me and is within supermodel status.

Her body is short and stocky, a not so flattering combination. What she wears would look good on a taller person, even if the person were stocky like she is.

Apparently the average height of a man is 5'9/5'10 and dear god it shows with every guy I know! Even in courts I'm the same height/taller than most I know. My housemates' boyfriends are 6'2 and 6'5, I'm so glad they reassure me that tall men do exist

And Jenny, I'd hate to be 6'! I bet she feels really self-conscious.

she doesn't look bad to me: her legs are nice and muscular.
I think the cellulite marks are photoshopped: she doesn't have them in other pictures.

The outift is not good for her body type at all.
