She's pretty much the only French actor/actress who's ever managed to grab leading roles in big American movies as a non-French person. Think about it. I think it helps that she doesn't have a thick French accent. What can you do with all the others? Maybe if they can fake a different accent they would get parts. I'd add Charlotte Gainsbourg as someone who's not only played Frenchies but she's half, isn't she? I love Charlotte.
As French actresses go, I'd love to see Marion Cotillard make it big in Hollywood. The woman is stunning.
