Having lived with a close family member who was morbidly obese that was the first thing I thought of when I saw his picture. I am concerned that he is going to get really, really sick with the weight he is carrying from the looks of that picture.

If Chaz has been stuck in the "wrong" body until now and it made him deeply unhappy I can understand why he'd turn to pizza for comfort. Now he's found his authentic self he might start to take better care of himself too. He certainly has his mother's Cherokee (?) looks and I bet there's some fab bone structure there. His girlfriend looks like a really nice girl and good on her for supporting him through his transition.

True, it's sad how closed-minded and homophobic people can be. Sometimes I forget that it's harder for people in other communities. I'm lucky enough to live in a more liberal state, in a pretty liberal community, and had the same in college. There was a trans student my senior year of high school and he had absolutely no trouble from our (very large) student body.

Always be open minded towards everyone - unless they are thin that is, in which case they can go hang themselves. Or famous - they are fair game.
