Yes, poor girl seems particularly blahish compared to her sisters...
That said... I suspect that she could be just as pretty or more than her sisters if she got all glammed up. After all, the other Kardashians are pretty but in a very "high maintenance" way.

I have not seen one single pic of Kim, in particular, where she is not dressed to impress and where she does not use heavy eyeliner and is heavily made up. Sure she can look stunning (although whoreish, IMHO), but after a few pics, you get bored already of that high-maintenance look. Tired of the eyeliner, gloss, same sexy stares and poses, orange tan and hyper body fitting dresses.
If we took the fake tan, the heavy makeup and the revealing clothes away, what would be left? A girl with a very striking body, but that's all. Cute, at most. Well, I am only guessing. It's almost impossible to even imagine how the girl must look REALLY like since she is always with tons of makeup and whatnot.

I remember when I first saw Kim, I didn't think she was pretty, but certainly that she striking, exotic looking.
After a zillion pics, her "exotic" look seems anything but exotic to me. It's always the same thing and it gets boring. Yep, boring, really. I see her face that I found interesting but not pretty, and now it is still not pretty and worse, boring. Same look, same thrusting boobs and butt everywhere, same face always made up heavily, gloss, straight hair, etc. etc. party after party, pic after pic. Yawnnnnnnnn...
