She strikes to me as the kind who loves to brag about how cool it is to have a gay BFF just for the sake of it. Possible closeted homophobe trying to fool herself and the world by waving the raibow pride flag, or else she wouldn't make such a big deal about it.

They're really cute...I think they genuinely like hanging out. If it seems like Katherine made a big deal of supporting T.R., one only has to remember how appallingly rude and hurtful Isiah was and her reaction becomes pretty understandable.

I havn't heard her "brag" about him or their friendship. Actually, I've only ever really heard her talk about him with regards to the Isaiah Washington thing. Maybe that's why you think she's making a big deal about it. She stood up for her good friend when the rest of the castmates were too scared to say anything.
