I had to report someone at work for being homophobic/sexist/racist/using inappropriate words (yeah I really enjoyed telling a senior manager what scat meant) & when I challenged them they disagreed that they were being offensive. If he wasn't offensive I wouldn't have challenaged him.


Btw - Chaz looks happy & his new chick is hot. Good for them both. (although I thought that he was in a stable relationship...)

True, it's sad how closed-minded and homophobic people can be. Sometimes I forget that it's harder for people in other communities. I'm lucky enough to live in a more liberal state, in a pretty liberal community, and had the same in college. There was a trans student my senior year of high school and he had absolutely no trouble from our (very large) student body.

Being the son of such a high profile mother Chaz could never make the transition to his "real" self except under the spotlight of publicity and scrutiny from dickhead bigots. From what I've seen and read so far he has handled himself with dignity and isn't making even half the Big Deal of it as aforesaid dickheads. I wish him the happiness he has been denied for whatever reason until now.
