In the jean cut offs pic her legs just look a tiny bit bigger and less toned.

They look fine to me too, in fact I'd KILL to have legs like hers but the only thing I said originally was that she's not quite skinny enough to pull off shorts that short.
Shorts like that are meant for anorexic, toothpicks which she is not which is good.

Shorts look awkward on really skinny girls, and especially on chubby girls. I think she has the right figure for it.
She's too short and stocky for stuff like that. Being that short means the smallest amount of weight gain looks like a lot more.
Plus the shorts and the boots hit her legs at the most unflattering points *twice*, visually shortening her munchkin build even more.
