I think the most telling thing is that her family has taken Kevin's side as well. Britney obviously has done some crazy shit if her own family is taking her ex husbands side. My mom and I were talking about that and she said the only thing that would make her do that is if I was putting my children in danger.

Mamabear is correct. Most parents would defend their own child, especially if K-fed is the big meal ticket scamming, self-serving assbag we all claim he is. However, for her folks to take his side I'd say she puts her kids in very obvious danger.

Britney yammered on for years and years in interviews about how her momma was her best friend, so things have obviously only recently been strained.

I agree with you mamma and Venus. What is extremely unimpressive is that they created the mess in the first place. They should have seen to it that she had an education and learned to think at least a little bit for herself.

I agree with you Mira, but who isn't a product of their childhood for better or worse? Britney just has to accept the hand she was dealt and move on and do better for her kids. That's her responsibility.

Yeah, I agree Venus. I think about the hand I was dealt every day. Some days are better, some days are worse. It sounds so trite, but she needs to leave L.A. and live somewhere normal. L.A. is not normal, especially for people in the biz. I will never go back there. Never. I'd live a lot of places instead of that place. I'm glad this judge is handling this so well...those boys hopefully will end up with Kevin...he has his faults, but he is the better parent. Twitters is a wacked out junkie...and I do have a bad feeling that when/if she loses her kids, it's not going to end well. She's a bullheaded, narcissistic child herself who has no business being a mother right now/if ever?!...if this doesn't make her finally grow up and clean up, then I don't know what will. Why would he have to tell them that? By all accounts Sean and Jayden are close with their siblings. Their siblings and Shar attended their birthday, and they've all spent holidays together. See - with their dad they're actually surrounded by family! Shocking I know.

I think it's telling that despite leaving Shar while she was pregnant they both get along and work successfully as co-parents. She would have every right to hate him and also keep her kids away (since they weren't married). So despite whatever nasty breakup or jerkish behavior he exhibits in his love life it doesn't seem to affect his parenting. And unlike your mythmaking, their public divorce records show that Britney never once paid his child support to Shar.

It speaks well of him and Shar that they were able to work out a custody agreement sans lawyers and are able to get together for their kids and be friendly and be nice to each other, even incorporating each other's kids by other relationships into their family. HIS history has already proven an ability to compromise and co-parent with an ex. The difference is the babymomma: he can get along and co-parent with the ex who is a normal mother. He can't with the babymomma who is a drug addict with repeated CPS visits.

I think it's more an "F--- you" to everyone. No one can tell Titney what to do! I guess all the drugs and alcohol are much more important to her than her children. Sounds like a substance abuse problem - judge was right. She'll never admit it though.

The only problem that I have with Kevin is that he doesn't work. I am sorry but a man is not a man if he won't work. That is the biggest turn off to me. Any man that will not work is a straight up piece of shit.

I do think the kids are better off with him and I have always like Kevin, I just can't deal with him not having a job. (like it's really any of my concern. hahaha)
